Your best is yet to run. After the already quite fast Endorphin Pro, Saucony introduces a new fast shoe that, as the name suggests, takes another big step forward in speed: The Elite. And it is fast, with a capital S. The energy return and resilience that this asset in carbon land provides is already described as impressive by the first guinea pigs. But let's start with promising.
Midsole
The midsole consists of a new superfoam, PWWRUN HG, which is as responsive as you can imagine to get the best out of yourself and your race. The material is cut slim and, together with the carbon plate, ensures a powerful take-off, smooth transition and a springy landing. To save weight, a piece of the sole has been left out in the middle part.
Upper
The breathable upper is vegan and consists partly of recycled materials. It is transparent in the forefoot and not elastic. In combination with the tongue, the whole thing stays nicely on your foot. The model offers space for a slightly wider foot and the wide base also gives the shoe some extra stability.
