The Alpha-3 is the successor to the best-selling skating helmet ever: the Cádomotus Alpha Aerospeed from 2015. After 5 years it is time for an update!

The Alpha-3 is the safest skating helmet on the market.
The Cádomotus R&D team has had regular consultations with the ISU technical committee during development. This allows us to guarantee that the Alpha-3 complies with the most recent safety guidelines and the adjustments that will still be implemented!

What is new with the Alpha-3 skating helmet?
The Alpha-3 skating helmet has been further developed.

We have designed the helmet more rounded at the rear, the rounder shape provides more protection for the back of the head.
Unlike the uni-size Alpha Aerospeed, the Alpha-3 is available in 2 sizes. The Alpha-3 is available in S/M (54-57cm) and L/XL (58-62cm).
The Alpha-3 does not fit a visor or aeroshield.
The Alpha-3 reduces air resistance through the so-called golf ball effect, a ribbed pattern on the front.
In accordance with the latest ISU regulations, all ventilation openings are 'protected' with a metal grid, which offers more protection in the event of falls while skating.
Not changed: still very light and comfortable in fit.
Officially approved helmet.
The Alpha-3 is still one of the few officially approved skating helmets by the ISU. According to the rules, the helmet must follow the shape of the head and there must be no protrusions on the helmet. An impact test drawn up for short track helmets must also be met. Almost all bicycle helmets are therefore unsuitable for marathon skating. The Alpha-3 skating helmet is therefore also suitable as a short track helmet.
