The Maple RL-7000 is a sturdy, well-finished skate boot.
The boot is constructed from glass fibre and is lined on the inside with real leather. The thermal plastic which is placed in the upper part of the shoe provides a good fit, sufficient support, and a high durability.
Due to the thermoplastic properties of the boot, the boot is heat mouldable which always ensures a great fit. A well-fitting skate is essential for stability and control. Especially in kids this has a great influence on their skating fun and their ability to learn the proper technique. Because of the low cut, this increases freedom of movement which allows you to get lower and into a better skating position.
The Raps V8 chassis is very solid and has an oval aluminium tube. This makes the clap skate very sturdy and suitable for both artificial and natural ice. The blade has a hardness of 62 HRC, which means it is slightly stiffer than the V6 variant and therefore is more suitable for experienced skaters. Through the use of a composite bridge, the power transmission is optimised. The mounts are adjustable both side to side as well as backwards and forwards allowing you to customise the skates to your needs.
All skates are supplied ready to use; this means bent and rockered (standard curve is 23 meters) If you would like a different radius, then please indicate this when completing your order.
