The SL 800 FTT is a beautifully finished boot with a sleek and aerodynamic appearance. The shell of the boot is made up of carbon and glass fibre and heat mouldable both by means of the conventional oven method and by Maple's new Hot-Water-Moulding technology. This fits the boot perfectly to your foot and makes the skate feel like an extension of your leg!
The Raps V8 chassis is very solid and has an oval aluminium tube. This makes the clapset very sturdy and suitable for both artificial and natural ice. The blade has a hardness of 62 HRC, which means it is slightly stiffer than the V6 variant and therefore is more suitable for experienced skaters. Through the use of a composite bridge on the blades, the power transfer is optimal. The eccentric mounting pads makes the blade both adjustable in length and width.
ATTENTION: the lether cover on the top of the feet (with the zipper) will start to peeling. Technical it's no problem, but it will look not so nice. There is no garantie on this, because the brand is not able to repair.
Watch out: Skates come in a normal width as well as slightly broader.
All skates are supplied ready to use; this means bent and rockered (standard curve is 23 meters) If you would like a different radius, then please indicate this when completing your order.
