Description
The SL 800 FTT is a beautifully finished boot with a sleek and aerodynamic appearance.
The shell of the boot is made up of carbon and glass fibre and is both, by means of the conventional oven method and by Maple's new Hot-Water-Moulding technology, easy to mould to your foot. This means the boot will fit perfectly and makes your skates feel like an extension of your legs.
Blade
The Twin Laser flex iron has a hardness of 64 HRC and is slightly less stiff than the ordinary Twin Laser. This gives the advantage that the blade is easier to control and provides greater control over the skate. Thanks to the ideal ratio between stiffness and control this blade is used by many top skaters from both the marathon and the long track world. The hardness ensures that it can develop more pressure on the corners, making it easier to achieve high speeds and maintain them. The blade is anodised with gold and has a voltage and torsion-free steel skate tube. Thanks to the PM steel which has a 25% lower coefficient of friction than normal steel, the blade has a very low sliding resistance, and the blade stays sharp longer.
ATTENTION: the lether cover on the top of the feet (with the zipper) will start to peeling. Technical it's no problem, but it will look not so nice. There is no garantie on this, because the brand is no able to repair.
Please note that the shoe is available in a wider and a normal version.
All skates are supplied ready to use; this means bent and rockered (standard curve is 23 meters) If you would like a different radius, then please indicate this when completing your order.
