The latest Viking chassis. Based on the properties of the world famous Nagano skate, but made with the most innovative production methods as used for the top model of the Viking bases (the Sapphire). The ultimate all-round skate.
When the Viking design team started, they had a mission: Create a skate with the properties of the Nagano but “2.0”, better, more beautiful and lighter. A solid skate made of the best quality PM bimetal that can be used by any level of skater.

Steering, stability and pressure.
The Icon has been given a number of typical features. The tube is completely closed at the front and rear, the pivot point is mounted in a unique way and the Icon is equipped with an extra wide core stability bracket as standard. As a skater, you will therefore experience more direct control and more stability. In short, a great combination of grip in the corner and easy steering on the long end. For ease of use, the Icon has a new folding system with tension spring, available in three strengths. The black anodized bracket is made of extra light aluminum. The light weight of the chassis contributes to less resistance while driving and therefore faster times!

Easy to install.
Due to the innovative way of laser welding with unique welding positions and welding jigs, the Icon is completely stress-free. Simply put, this ensures that the skate returns to its old position after each push-off, so that a placed 'bend' stays in place better. The skate is easy to place and can be controlled very directly. Skaters of all levels can therefore use the Icon. As the successor to the Nagano, the Icon is without a doubt the ultimate all-round skate.

Exceptional sliding ability.
The sides of the PM bimetallic skate steel of 66 HrC are polished or ground flat on a flat bench. So 100% flat, with minimal sliding resistance. This also makes it possible to measure a placed bend more accurately. The exceptional finish also ensures easy deburring. This way you are faster on and off the ice.
