These lightweight topper Mizuno, Waverider, offers many resiliency and cushioning and is ideal for long distance runners with a neutral gait cycle.
The new nose design of the Wave Rider 19 ensures that this model is more durable in the forefoot than its predecessor, without that affecting become fit.
Characteristic for each Mizuno running shoe is the "wave plate", a corrugated plastic sheet in the midsole of the shoe. This plate deforms continuously during running. Under load peaks are pushed apart and when the load decreases springs it back. The '' Cooperation of the foam material and the wave plate in the midsole "stability increases significantly and loses the shoe less its shape.
The shape of the wave plate varies by type of Mizuno shoes. Your foot type determines the wave plate is suitable for you. The neutral wave plate in the Mizuno Wave Rider is on the medial (inside) side and the lateral (outside) side built the same.
