The popular model Nike Pegasus is a very fine lightweight all-rounder for neutral runners. For both endurance training, interval sessions as well as a game Pegasus 33 suited. Thé characteristic of the Pegasus is the Zoom Air cushioning in the heel which makes for a quick settlement of the foot and better damping.
A lower heel drop of 10 millimeters and deep flex grooves contribute to a more natural movement. The shoe has a rounder fit than its predecessors. The upper of the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 32 is composed of Engineered Mesh (Fly Mesh). New to the Pegasus 32 are strategically placed Flywire threads.
- Flywire technology:
Many Nike, including this model, have thermoplastic threads (filaments) on the outside of the shoe. These wires act as "suspension bridge cables" that provide precise support wherever it is needed at the time. Pegasus has 33 double Flywire threads, which provide better closure to the foot without irritation.
