Description

With the Alpha-2 Aerospeed we introduce the successor to the very first specific skating helmet for long distances in the world, the Cádomotus Alpha. The Alpha-2 is even safer, fits even better and is and remains the skating helmet that sets the standard.

The introduction of the Alpha in 2015 coincided with the call for more safety in marathon skating and in the mass start in long track skating, and was at the beginning of a revolution. It is impossible to imagine the ice rink without the skating helmet and many recreational and natural ice enthusiasts use it. Just like in cycling and inline skating, we have come to consider wearing a helmet in skating normal. And that is it.

What's new with the Alpha-2?
The Alpha-2 skating helmet has been further developed.

We designed the helmet more round at the back, which is more aerodynamic and fashionable.
The rounder shape provides more protection for the back of the head.

You simply click a visor on the helmet with magnets, just like on our top model, the Omega.
If you don't want a visor in front of your eyes for a while, you can simply click the visor the other way around on your helmet.
The larger ventilation openings in the back of the helmet have been replaced by several small ventilation slots. This offers more protection in case of falls in skating

Not changed: still very light and comfortable in terms of fit.

Make the helmet your own with an aeroshield.
You can make this skating helmet completely yours by adding an aeroshield in your favorite color. You can easily attach this on top of your helmet. With the colored shields you can also turn your helmet into an extension of your club or team clothing. What a match! The Sonic Aershields from Cádomotus also have an aerodynamic advantage.

Officially approved helmet.
This is still one of the few officially approved skating helmets by the ISU. According to the rules, the helmet must follow the shape of the head and there must be no protrusions on the helmet. An impact test drawn up for short track helmets must also be met. Virtually all bicycle helmets are therefore unsuitable for marathon skating. The Alpha-2 skating helmet is therefore also suitable as a short track helmet.
