Description
Shoe.
Specially designed "cuff" by Zandstra for optimal lateral stability. The shoe has a low weight and is designed from a skating point of view. The Free heel counter provides optimal support and fit of the heel. The plastic parts are reinforced with fiberglass. There is an extra stiff sole under the shoe for maximum stability while skating. The protective outer shell is lightweight, elastic, breathable and waterproof. The anatomical insole ensures optimal stability and comfort. The 45 degree lacing system prevents rotation of the foot in the shoe.
Skate.
The Zandstra Nordic Race 4163 comes with a Nordic chassis. This skate has a patented attachment of the binding to the skate (Patent: 1031965). The Rottefella skate binding has a special extra stiff "flex", especially for skating. The skate consists of an aluminum frame which makes it very lightweight. The binding is infinitely adjustable. The torsional stiffness in combination with the high-quality stainless steel. steel (60Rc) make this skate ideal for you if you plan to skate long trips, even the Elfstedentocht! Suitable for both natural and artificial ice.
There is a standard curve in the skate blades of 27.
